Come join our family of friends. Snug Haven Lakeside Resort in Harrison, Michigan, offers modern, furnished waterfront vacation homes in a quiet, private setting on beautiful all-sports Budd Lake. Each cottage is unique, allowing us to match our available accommodations to your specific needs and preferences. All of our cottages have modern kitchens, decks facing the lake, high-speed wireless internet and cable TV. Our newest cottage, the Nest, is scooter and wheelchair accesible on the main floor.
Snug Haven offers all the amenities you expect from a lakeside vacation in Northern Michigan. All of our cottages face our 300-foot sandy beach. Our swimming area is enclosed by our “C”-shaped dock, making it a secure play area for children. Beach amenities include a water slide, a fire pit on the main beach and another for the beach in front of the Hideaway cottage, beach and deck chairs, beach games (such as ladder golf and boce ball), and a plane-shaped swing. For the angler, Budd Lake is noted for excellent muskie, perch, and walleye fishing. Many varieties of bass and panfish are also waiting to be caught from our C-dock. Dock space is available for guests who wish to bring a boat.
Several types of unpowered watercraft are available for guest use at no charge (paddlewheel boats, rowboats, kayaks). We also provide life jackets and seat cushions for your use on these watercraft.
We are close to several excellent golf courses as well as the Soaring Eagle Casino, and our central location makes an ideal starting point for most popular Northern Michigan day trip destinations.
Rates are tiered Spring through Fall, making Snug Haven affordable for any budget.
