Budd Lake Has It All
Enjoy all that Budd Lake has to offer!
Budd Lake is approximately 185 acres in size, about one mile long by a half mile wide (at its widest), with a public island for exploring. Located within the city limits of Harrison, it is surrounded with a sewer system, meaning there are no septic tanks leaching into the lake, which in turn makes it a clean lake that can be enjoyed by water enthusiasts of all types!
The Lake is self-contained and fed by underground springs from the aquifer. There are no inlets and outlets, which means there are no pollutants floating upstream or downstream. The quality of the water is easily monitored, making it safe for all users and easier to maintain healthy fishing stocks.
Speaking of fishing, we have an abundance of different types of fish, with small fry for youngsters to enjoy catching (such as Bluegills, Crappie, Rock Bass, Red–Eared Sunfish, and Perch), as well as Sporting Action for the expert anglers (Large Mouth Bass, Walleyes, Pike, and Muskies).
In short, Budd Lake is an all-sports lake that features quiet times and no-wake zones. Our vacation homes come with the use of unpowered watercraft, such as Kayaks, Rowboats and Paddlewheel boats. The resort also has plenty of docking for guests’ personal watercraft. Check out our list of essential vacation tips to help make the most of your stay on Budd Lake.
