The Nest
Designed to be wheelchair/scooter accessible on the first floor, the Nest contains everything someone with limited mobility would need: ramp to the front door, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining area, living room with a king-size pull-out daybed plus two futons, cable TV, and a large bathroom with ADA-compliant fixtures and shower. The upstairs is divided into two suites, each with a queen-size bed and private bathroom.
FRONT ROW COMFORT
The Nest deck directly overlooks the beach, the C-dock and Budd Lake. Guests can sit at the picnic table or in the Adirondack chairs and have a perfect view of the youngsters learning to kayak in the protected swim area, the older kids sitting on the float fishing for bluegills, and Uncle Steve and Aunt Tammy on a paddleboat. It’s also the perfect location for watching the summer sun sink under the horizon and the beautiful pink and orange and purple sky it leaves behind.
UNBELIEVABLE BEAUTY
The front door opens to a covered deck overlooking our spacious beach and Budd Lake. On the second story we've added two comfortable bedrooms with queen-size beds in each. Each upstairs bedroom has its own private full bath with oversize shower.

Relaxing and comfortable in every way, the Nest comes fully furnished with modern day conveniences wrapped in Northern Michigan charm. Tile floors and knotty pine walls blend the luxuries of home with the warmth and beauty of being “up north.”
ROOM WITH NO DOORS
The front deck will quickly become one of your favorite rooms in the cottage. Eat, rest, play, read, and relax in this beautiful space. Eat outside on the deck or indoors in the oak Amish “booth” by the window. Prepare pizza in your full size oven or brats on the gas grill right outside your door. The picnic table is a perfect place for potato salad, but it’s also a great place to play games or just sit and chat. Amish deck chairs make excellent places to read or even check your email (quickly).

Combine the Nest and another cottage and invite more of your family and friends to vacation with you. Cottages are all unique and can be combined to accommodate everyone: couples, singles, seniors, children, and even the dog!
